For as long as he can remember, Herk was a part of airshows. From attending shows across the United States as a child with his father flying vintage planes for display, Herk was there.
Now, Herk enjoys relating the visual performances to the crowd with a musical presence and commentary that is both relevant yet understandable. When Herk is not at an airshow, he can be found flying his 1947 Stinson Voyager 108-2 with friends and working for FlightSafety International as a Regional Sales Manager in the Florida and Alabama territories.
